At long last, the masks can temporarily take a trip to our desk drawers. CCMH is following the CDC guidelines for healthcare facilities, and these guidelines give options for zero masks.
Each Thursday, county infection rates are analyzed; based on the findings, masks may or may not be required in hospital settings.
McMahon Tomlinson Nursing and Rehabilitation will still require masks, regardless of county infection rates or levels.
Clinics may still require masking independent of hospital masking status.
Lobby signage will reflect the current status and masking requirements.
Anyone who is COVID positive, has symptoms of COVID or is in close contact with someone with COVID, they are required to mask regardless.
The levels are:
••• RED – HIGH RISK
Masking for everyone – visitors and team members everywhere
••• ORANGE – SUBSTANTIAL RISK
Masking for everyone – visitors and team members everywhere
••• YELLOW – MODERATE RISK
No masks for public unless seated in a designated waiting room or in a congested area; masks required for team members when doing direct patient care.
••• BLUE – LOW RISK
No masking at all!
