The CCMH Incident Command Team would like to thank all team members for their continued support, service, and patience during the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. We continue to advocate for all team members to get vaccinated. To date we have vaccinated 65% of our team. While we are thankful for those who have stepped up and received their vaccine, we would like to reach out to the 35% that have not been vaccinated and let them know that information on the safety and efficacy of the vaccinations has been widely studied and distributed. Please contact Incident Command or Infection Prevention if you have questions or concerns. These vaccines protect ourselves, our patients, and our loved ones.
In good news from the weekend, a study from Johns Hopkins University shows that Oklahoma currently ranks 5th for fewest new COVID cases per capita over the last two weeks! Due to our natural social distancing from being a rural state, along with the aid of vaccinating 40% of the state’s population so far, we are heading in the right direction! With more people getting vaccinated in the community and throughout the country, some rules and regulations are starting to change. Please continue to be patient as we roll out these new guidelines. We will continue to follow CDC guidelines. If you have any questions, please contact the Incident Command team: incidentcommand@ccmhhealth.com
